Abstract
Describes the advances in gas turbine technology in recent years that now allow the utilization of low Btu fuels in gas turbines for the power generation sector. In particular, the Low Btu combustion testing funded by Syntroleum and the equipment now available from two major gas turbine vendors will be discussed. Specific gas turbines well suited for integrating the gas-to-liquids (GTL) process with the Power Sector will be reviewed.
