Abstract :
An effective technique for the co-channel interference rejection in FDMA/TDMA cellular systems is described. The technique uses independent component analysis (ICA) for blind separation of the signal of interest and co-channel interferers. An outline of a non-coherent binary pulse shift keying (BPSK) receiver operating in a quasi-static radio channel is presented and its performance is assessed through computer simulations. The simulations demonstrate significant performance improvement of the receivers employing the proposed technique.
