Abstract :
Two kinds of high power relativistic magnetron injection gun (MIG) for application in gyroklystrons have been investigated and initial designs were obtained from the trade-off equations. Then the final results and some scaling laws were obtained, supported by the numerical simulation code EGUN. The constraints are chosen to improve the quality of the electron beam.
