Abstract :
Noise parameter extraction is one of essential topics in microwave engineering. There are some algorithms used to extract the noise parameters from the measurements. One of the most used algorithms is Mitama´s algorithm (1979) and another one is Boudiaf´s algorithm (1992, 93). These methods use iterative approach and as initial values, parameters obtained by Lane´s method (1969) are used. In this paper the effect of iteration process in the two above algorithms will be investigated. Computer simulation is used to discuss the efficiency of methods.
