Abstract
In this paper, the possibility of using electromagnetic wave radiation pressure to the measurement of microwave power, especially the measurement of the peak power or total energy in a single shot high-energy microwave pulse is discussed. A torsion balance with a suspension system for measuring the radiation pressure in free space is proposed. System simulation of the real-time response of the suspension system is made. Some experimental results are presented.
