Abstract :
As part of the national funded scientific observation program ARKTIEF a mooring station has been equipped with a new type of profiling platform. During a deployment phase of 12 months the system operated successfully and collected a complete set of scientific and housekeeping data that has been evaluated in detail. Within this paper, the technical results and possible future improvements of the system will be discussed.
