Abstract :
This paper answers the direct and inverse problems of hydroacoustics in non-uniform media. The solutions are based on the law of wave reflection in homogeneous and non-uniform media, and on the law of wave refraction for two uniform half-spaces and two non-uniform media. The algorithm of the calculation of direct and inverse task in the geodesic coordinates is analogous to the algorithm for a homogeneous medium. Green´s function of divergent waves was used to solve the direct task while Green´s function of convergent waves was used to solve the inverse task. The proposed method can be used for identification of source coordinates that irradiate continuous signal on a few waveband as well as oceanographic challenges.
