  • Abstract
Introduces AutoSurvey, an environmentally adaptive approach to hydrographic surveys, and explains how this new technology can benefit the industry. Also the paper describes the platforms it has been tested on, and describes the current integration effort of AutoSurvey into NAVOCEANO´s Integrated Survey System, ISS-60. The AutoSurvey Planner, a new project being developed to bring AutoSurvey functionality to survey planners, is introduced. Results of various simulation runs are presented that demonstrate AutoSurvey´s ability to dramatically reduce survey time.
