Abstract

With the diffusion of the Internet, intranet, personal digital assistant (PDA), cellular phone etc., we have developed and marketed the IT application remote monitoring system that fused conventional control technology and latest IT (information technology). The paper reports on the development policy and concept of the latest information technologies applying to industrial automation systems. Two solutions against the issues due to public communication infrastructure are also indicated.
