Abstract :
Depends on signal form that control systems deal with, the control systems can be classified into two types; one called continuous-data control system (CDCS) and the another called discrete-data control system (DDCS). This paper will proceed the way of using Z-transform to find the digital model for discrete-data control system, and then a proper method is developed to determine the optimum sampling frequency of digital model for a satisfactory transient response. The transient response of digital models were investigated for different values of sampling frequency and these results were compared with a convention method.
