Abstract :
We construct a blind spatial and temporal RBF (radial basis function) equalizer (BSTRBFE) which can restore its transmitted symbols without test data using a genetic algorithm. The feature of this receiver is that it can work well in the situation of nonlinear distortion, because the RBF equalizer has a nonlinear structure and can achieve the same performance as the Bayesian equalizer.
