Abstract
We consider adaptive estimation of stability derivatives of aircrafts from flight data. An adaptive estimation scheme which utilizes multiple observers is applied. The multiple observers are designed for representative models derived by rewriting the state equation of the system. Under a certain condition, the output signal is described by output estimates generated by the multiple observers. Using this property, the estimates can be computed from input and output data.
