Abstract :
This paper describes a simple biologically motivated method to finding local regions of each object in a cluttered image, and the implementation of its method to an active vision system to execute gaze control. Proposed method employs a parallel set of filters inspired upon biological findings of mammalian vision. Experiments have been performed on cluttered real images, and the results show that every object in view is easily segmented out one after another.
