Abstract :
With the proliferation of data services over wireless networks, it has become increasingly important to understand the user perceived application performance aspects of such networks. In this paper we provide simple, yet accurate, models for the physical and MAC layers of a CDMA2000 supplemental channel. We illustrate how these models can be used to determine TCP performance over such channels.
