  • Abstract
Varying impedance loads connected to the termination points of power-line channels result in variable channel behavior. Any transmitted signal in such a communications system is subject to time-varying multipath fading. In this paper we present a method for determining the multipath components of any transmitter-receiver pair in the indoor power-line environment. Such information could be valuable in the process of designing the proper receiver architecture. The proposed method is applied to a sample network to demonstrate its usefulness in explaining the network´s time-dependent behavior.
