Abstract
We consider adaptive fault diagnosis for array multiprocessor systems. We show that three testing rounds are necessary and sufficient for adaptive parallel diagnosis of an N-processor system modeled by a d-dimensional square mesh [torus] if N≥(d+1)d2/ [N≥(2d+2)d].
