  • Abstract
A method for designing ultraspherical windows with prescribed spectral characteristics is proposed. The characteristics considered include the ripple ratio, main-lobe width, -to- width, and a user defined side-lobe pattern. The method employs a variety of short algorithms that calculate the ultraspherical window´s independent parameters based on the prescribed spectral characteristics.
