Abstract :
In this paper we propose a new edge detection operator using partial differential equation (PDE) for grey level and color images. We propose a new approach in order to obtain a new anisotropic edge detection method based on the crossing of the second derivative. We show here that edges can be robustly extracted without lost of precision. We present various results on synthetic and real images.
