Abstract :
A genetic algorithm has been applied to predict building schemas of protein secondary structure. This research uses protein secondary data generated by DSSP. Although the average Q3 of this research is not the highest score among previous researches, some fundamental and useful building schemas of protein secondary structure have been found. The results of this study would be a valuable reference for understanding the basic building patterns of protein secondary structures.
