  • Abstract
    Holland´s schema theorem has several limitations. The first is that it is not an exact equation, and the second is that it only considers schemata as individuals in GA´s population. This paper will try to make some novel extensions to overcome these limitations. In the paper, we formulate an exact schema equation based on schema space, and our results are similar to the conclusions of Stephens et al., but they have novel expressions and a larger degree of coarse graining.
