Abstract :
The problem of exact linearization of nonlinear systems with single input via time scale transformation (TST) is considered in this paper. If the distribution Gr-1 for a given nonlinear system is involutive but Gr is not, then the conditions under which the distribution Dr is involutive for the new system after TST are obtained. Also, the PDEs for obtaining the time scaling function are derived. The multi-step procedure for linearization by TST is also given.
