  • Abstract
    Using the general procedure, suggested in S Glisic et al., (1987), for estimating the digital communication system efficiency, we determine the efficiency (E) of a Gaussian channel for multilevel PSK (phase-shift keying) signal transmission in the presence of cochannel interference. The paper presents the efficiency dependence on signal-to-noise ratio per symbol (ρ) for different values of signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) and number of phase levels (M).
