Abstract :
This paper analyses the relationship between economical development, cable television market and cable television penetration on global and national levels of developed and developing countries. Economic, technological, regulation and market aspects of cable television development in Serbia are given. Problem of inadequate deployment is identified. A model for cable television development in Serbia, potentially adequate for developing countries with low and lower middle income, is described.
