Abstract :
In this paper, we propose here an affine invariant matching algorithm applied to stereo contour images. A new affme-invariant Fourier descriptors introduced in F. Ghorbel (1998) is tested and implemented. These invariants are produced from the Fourier coefficients of the reparametrized IR2-curve. They satisfy the completeness and stability properties, which will be proved experimentally. We note that this set of invariants are computed and used for the first time. Application in stereo matching will be presented in this paper.
