Abstract
The Share it! project is developing a system of rights managed content sharing between homes connected by the broadband Internet in a peer-to-peer network of set-top boxes with storage. Demonstrators of the system have been developed. This paper looks at the system requirements, the design choices and the overall system architecture that has been developed with an emphasis on the issue of rights management.
