Abstract :
A fully automated, Web controlled, monitoring system, performing measurements of the RF electric field strength in various sites is presented. The system consists of several remote measurement stations, installed in different area types and a central control unit, which communicates with each station via the GSM network. The design and development of the system focused on the end-to-end automation, in order to minimize any human intervention during its operation. The measurement results as well as any related information are presented to the public on a regular basis through a Web site.
