Abstract

This work is based on a research of a concept of building a menu with user access control to its elements. The menu building concept is researched in scope of an object-oriented environment, with a particular reference to an Oracle database user access. In a research of menu building in an object-oriented environment, Java programming language is used. In this environment, new classes for building a menu with an access control are implemented. Since the access is based on data regarding users and their privileges already available in a database, Oracle database connection via Java database connectivity - JDBC is used.
