Abstract
The paper is focused on a voltage control implementation of a three-phase rectifier (600 V/12 kVA) with unity power factor. In contrast to other known solutions based on microcomputer or DSP control, it introduces a simple control algorithm. It relies on instantaneous control values of three-phase bridge inverter that inherently performs three-phase to d-q transformation. The paper presents the rectifier topology, analyzes its steady-state and dynamic response. It concludes with experimental results showing the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm.
