Abstract
Nonlinearity in electrical-to-optical conversion limits dynamic range for transmitting analog and multilevel signals over fiber optic channel. We describe CMOS predistortion linearizer which extends dynamic range of direct and externally modulated links by suppressing both 2nd and 3rd order distortions.
