  • Abstract
    We demonstrate a novel all-fiber ultra broadband VOA based on acousto-optic mode coupling in SM fiber with a dynamic range of 18 dB, PDL of 0.5 dB, bandwidth of 30 kHz and power consumption of 10 mW.
