Abstract :
Spectroscopic evidence of the advantage of the 1410/1560nm dual-wavelength pumping scheme of TDFA over the 1051/1560nm scheme was shown by the auxiliary pump power and wavelength dependencies of the S-band gain and pump attenuation in the fiber.
