Abstract :
We report 40 Gb/s propagation results over 10 spans (900 km) of dispersion-shifted fiber. This performance is achieved using CS-RZ modulation, FWM reduced channel plan, careful dispersion management, dynamic gain equalization, and high gain super-FEC.
