Abstract
Routing of 10 Gbit/sec optical packets is demonstrated with WDM-encoded header bits. The traffic flow control mechanism uniquely reduces latency and simplifies packet processing. Significantly lower cross-talk is obtained using linear optical amplifier switching gates.
