Abstract :
We present here the results of the optical characterization of colloidal crystals using the dynamical diffraction theory. The dynamical diffraction theory has been adapted from its original use in the modeling of x-ray diffraction from crystals. Then, we apply the optical diffraction to assess the quality of the internal order of colloidal crystals.
