Abstract :
A 120 Gb/s, 12 channel parallel optical transmitter using 850 nm VCSELs over 300 m of fiber is described. All channels operate simultaneously, driven by a custom-built low cost 120 Gb/s test station. Error free operation with margin is confirmed.
