Abstract
This paper reports on the demonstration of ablation processing of hydroxyapatite (HAp) and collagen using a high intensity femtosecond laser with pulsewidth controllable from 50 fs to 2.5 ps operating at 1 kpps. This work focuses on the chemical properties of ablated surface of HAp and collagen as a function of pulsewidth.
