Abstract :
This paper proposes time-dependent link travel time functions for dynamic traffic assignment. According to the theory of traffic flow wave, the link travel time model is given for application to dynamic traffic assignment. Based on kinematic wave theory, the average queue length experiencing the link during interval k is calculated, and the link travel time for all k can be determined recursively.
