Abstract :
In this paper, we report pulsed-to-CW power enhancement factors of ∼22 and pulse energies of 0.4 μJ for pulsed operation of a 3 μm Er: ZBLAN fiber laser, achieved by modulating the Q-factor of the cavity by means of an integrated LiTaO3 waveguide electro-optics light deflector at repetition rates as high as 60 KHz.
