Abstract :
Bluetooth is a short-range communication system facilitating ad-hoc networking between various devices and terminals, using a digital frequency modulation (FM) scheme termed GFSK (Gaussian frequency shift keying). In this communication, the authors present a novel receiver structure for Bluetooth which is based on zero crossing demodulation in combination with a decorrelating matched filter. Simulation results show performance improvements compared to conventional zero crossing detectors.
