Abstract :
This paper first explores the differences of the attitude of mind, especially desires, between rational agents and human beings. It argues that the desires of rational agents must be consistent, although those of human beings may be inconsistent. Later, it discusses the weak realism constraint for intentions and points out that the existing formalizations are unable to exactly describe the features of intentions due to their shortcomings. In order to overcome these drawbacks, it introduces the parameter of time and the possibility of operator to propose a more exact formal representation for intentions and the relationship between intentions and beliefs.
