Abstract :
A translation-invariant wavelet de-noising method based on a new thresholding function is presented to suppress the pseudo-Gibbs oscillations of wavelet shrinkage de-noising in this paper. The new thresholding function has many advantages, such as simple in expression, having high order derivative. Experimental results show that the method gives better performance in both visual results and quantitative terms.
