Abstract :
A novel time slot allocation algorithm called dynamic permutation based time slot allocation is proposed for WCDMA TDD systems. Trade-off between interference and usable resources of time slots is considered in assignment of codes to time slots. The proposed algorithm dynamically permutes time slots based on the change of time slot interference and required resources during the code assignment of the new call. Performance of the proposed algorithm is compared to the static permutation based time slot allocation algorithm.
