Abstract :
The 55 papers in this special issue span the topics of optical micro-electro-mechanical systems, (MEMS), nano-electro-mechanical systems (NEMS) and micromirror devices, including tunable and reconfigurable devices; optical guided-wave, plasmonic, and metamaterial-based devices; optical emitters, detectors, and modulators; and biomedical, microfluidic, and optofluidic devices.
