Abstract :
This paper presents a planar duplexer consisting of mixed bandpass filters (BPFs) using different tapped resonators. The duplexer is designed based on general filter theory and the tap-coupling technique. The actual duplexer is fabricated using a coplanar waveguide (CPW) structure. The results of this study lead us to the conclusion that the proposal is useful for realizing a high performance planar duplexer fabricated without increasing the number of elements.
