Abstract
A three-branch channelized active bandpass filter is presented in this paper. This is an excellent option to circumvent the typical problems involved in the traditional active bandpass filter design techniques at the microwave band: high noise, instability, losses and excessive physical dimensions in circuits that synthesize high-order responses. In addition, an iterative procedure for three-branch channelized filter design is proposed. The described design technique is experimentally validated with the design, construction and measurement of a hybrid prototype at 2.5 GHz.
