Abstract :
The paper discusses the novel architecture, development and the technical aspects of a polarisation agile, highly accurate T/R module. The overall architecture is described, a detailed look to the sub components is given. These are the ´Standardized Modular T/R Module´ (SMTR-Module) and two further newly developed components: The ´Frontend Electronics Unit´ and the ´Control Electronics´. Some detailed measurements on fabricated modules are also reported.
