Abstract :
Uplink and downlink load equations for a snapshot of users in a UMTS network are presented in unified and general matrix form. Capacity and coverage constraints of the system are presented in the form of inequalities to he satisfied by users and network loadings. It is shown that the static simulation of the network is the joint solution of the load equations and capacity and coverage constraints carried out with an iterative method.
