Abstract
Proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control, fuzzy control (FC), and single neuron net (SNN) control are typical control algorithms, which have gotten much attention both in theory and in practice. But these control methods belong to ´delay regulation´, because they can cancel error only basing on the errors occurred. The real system in the production field is a grey system, so this paper combines the grey prediction theory and the former three typical control strategies. From the point of grey prediction methodology, conceptions of grey PID control, grey fuzzy control and grey neural net control are put forward systematically. Lots of computer simulation results show that the excellent control property, stronger robust performance and much better disturbance rejection ability have been obtained by using the new control strategies with grey prediction.
