Abstract :
A platform-based approach for power electronics systems requires the definition of basic building blocks and may be essential for mature and emerging applications. The most important key functional components in power electronics are the power electronics controller and the power electronics building block (PEBB). Successful developments and market introductions of PEBBs and related applications are shown.
