Abstract
In this paper, a home electric supply system consisting of a fuel cell (FC) and electric double layer capacitor (EDLC) is proposed. Steady load is supplied by FC and transient power component will be compensated by EDLC. The response characteristics of this system are confirmed with simulation by software PSIM. The modified Euler type moving average prediction (EMAP) model is introduced to reduce the required capacity of EDLC, with the simulation by software MATLAB/Simulink.
